So, my ancient copy of Leadtek’s Winfast PVR2 usually works fine, then one day it decides it’s going to split recordings at 1.99GB no matter what you ask it to do.
Reading some ancient forum posts, someone else mentioned that it will do this if it thinks it might be on a FAT16 (or FAT32?) drive. It isn’t in my case, but still it’s been known randomly to switch into this state of mind.
The solution is unknown, but switching to another physical drive seems to resolve it.
This is a fairly cheap unit at $129 – does the job but even on low it is quite loud compared to units such as the “Mi Air Purifier”. Had they given it a ‘quiet; setting it would be better in my opinion.

Still no idea where to get replacement filters – but really there isn’t much complexity to this product and you can probably make your own.

If the handle breaks off, undo all the screws, remove the spring from inside the lid, remove the unlocking pin, drill small hole, slide in cable tie. Done

I think this situation is caused if you attempt to use the Web Player from more than one device, or several times without using the app. The solution appears to be simply to open the Spotify app on your phone or PC, play one song, then try the web player again.

I have a wife addicted to these things, but don’t like spending money on books etc. She doesn’t like to do them on screens; so I thought maybe there’s a program I can use to make them.
Google searches were fruitless, until I thought to try Clueless Crossword Freeware, which took me to this page:

From there it’s not hard to use the Snipping tool to capture a game, create a text box A to Z, stick it in Word or Publisher and Print it.
Edit: getting several comments that this didn’t work. Unfortunately I don’t own this laptop so I can test to see if this solution is still valid. It has worked for me twice. (April 2018 ish)
If you upgrade Windows 10 (presumably by using the media creation tool) you may find the WiFi no longer works. (14 inch laptop.)
I had this problem and called Unisurf for a solution. Here is their solution, which worked:

2. Then download and save the file to a USB Flash Drive
3. Plug the USB Flash Drive to your device
4. Run and Install the file (You may get an error message after the installation, just disregard the message and follow the next step.)
5. Reboot the Computer
6. Wireless Network should work again

If you have an S14 that is leaking, it might be the yellow elbow connector. It appears to have been over-torqued on mine and it fractured.
I don’t know if replacements are available.
Or an MS 6950 or a Twin Frozr III.
You can’t, I tried. Not enough VRAM I think.
